A well meaning people group but misguided by a pursuit of revival. God loves each one here. We miss the mark by pursuing the wrong things. Its easy to seek the things of God rather than the Kingdom of God itself. We aren't taught by Jesus to seek revival, we are taught to follow the great commission; to make disciples. Revival is simply an outpouring of the Spirit. “Believe me, woman, the time is coming when you Samaritans will worship the Father neither here at this mountain nor there in Jerusalem. You worship guessing in the dark; we Jews worship in the clear light of day. God’s way of salvation is made available through the Jews. But the time is coming—it has, in fact, come—when what you’re called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter. “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration."
    John 4:23‭-‬24 MSG
People need something real and authentic. Gods going to carry out his plan for the earth. When we add to scripture we distort the meaning. On judgement day don't be the guy who stands before Jesus and says... But.. We sought revival. Heaven doesn't stop for fresh start church. A true movement of God doesn't need hype. What we say and do in front of the church won't matter on that day. Its how we live our lives. Are we living according to the words of Christ, to love? Matthew 5-8. The preacher tonight is literally saying that the title of his message is "dare we continue like this." I am saying "course correction" here. Come back to scripture. You don't have to protect God and what He's doing, He can protect Himself. His Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, one that knows no end. You have beautiful people here. Don't waste your time chasing squirrels, stay the path, it's a narrow road. You seriously have amazing people here, people desperate for answers. You're better off closing down and baring the doors then to take advantage of these fragile souls who are crying out for love. You do not want to incur the wrath of God which is reserved for wickedness. There is so much to say here.
